Tropical Smoothie Pops

Tropical Frozen Smoothie Pops(1)

This recipe is so easy.

I’m sharing this recipe with you because making frozen pops is pretty much my three year old’s favorite thing to do these days. I think he might even like making them more than he likes eating them. I also have fun making them.

And did I mention that they’re healthy?

Tropical Yogurt Pops

Ingredients:

1 cup vanilla yogurt

1 banana

1/2 cup each, strawberries and mangos (or any to fruits of your choice)

6 popsicle molds

Make the pops:

1. Pour the yogurt into a medium-sized mixing bowl.

2. Cut the fruit up into tiny pieces. My son likes to use a butter knife and cut up the banana on his own.

3. Add the fruit to the yogurt.

4. Stir it up!

5. Carefully spoon the mixture into the popsicle molds. My son likes to help with this part too and it gets messy, but oh well. If you have extra space, you can just top it off with more yogurt.

6. Freeze and enjoy!

Berry Yummy Pops

Ingredients:

1 banana

1 cup mixed berries

Approx. 1 cup berry juice (a grape blend works well)

6 popsicle molds

Make the pops:

1. Arrange the popsicle molds in the tray or however they will be frozen.

2. Chop up the banana and any large berries into small pieces. This is another opportunity to give little hands a chance to practice their knife skills.

3. Add the bananas and berries to the popsicle molds so that they are layered on each other. But don’t push them down. You want some spaces between the fruit pieces. My son has a lot of fun carefully placing the berries and banana pieces into the molds.

4. Fill the molds the rest of the way with the fruit juice.

5. Freeze and enjoy!
