About Britta

The lady behind the blog:

My name is Britta Eberle.  I live in rural Central Vermont with my husband, our four-year-old son, Wolfy, and our one-year-old daughter, Ada. We inhabit fifteen acres and a farmhouse that we remodeled ourselves.

Here’s a little bit of my story… When I was younger, I had a really exciting life.  After high school I spent a few years traveling all over the United States and Australia; hopping freight trains and hitching rides.  In college I studied creative writing and literature. While tending bar at a cafe shortly after college, I met my husband.  He was my customer and he kept asking for refills on his coffee even though it was 11pm.  As dorky as this sounds, I knew right away he and I would have an awesome life together. We returned to my hometown to settle down and start a family.

People who have known me for a long time are surprised that I traded in my wild life to be a stay-at-home-mother and a 1950s-style-homemaker.  But really, raising these crazy kids is my biggest adventure yet.

My writing has appeared in many places including Scary Mommy,  The Huffington PostMamapediaBLUNTMoms, and Sammiches and Psych Meds.

  1. Thanks so much for following me. I love your son’s name (Wolfy rocks!) and your writing style (the poop story is hilarious!). Can’t wait to read more. Xx from Amsterdam

While I can still follow on Reader, my followers can no longer follow me. If you have enjoyed following me, please continue to subscribe by following me through email. I would hate to lose you because of the switch. Thank you for all your support. Kim http://thepinterestedparent.com/
